The Quantum Committee Quintet emerged from the vibrant jazz scene at Western Michigan University, where five talented musicians united over their passion for the genre.

• Jacob Nowakowski (Bass): From Bartlett, Illinois, Jacob anchors the ensemble with groove-driven bass lines and original compositions.

• Rohan Marr (Drums): A West Chicago native, Rohan brings intensity and rhythmic drive, pushing the band forward with dynamic pulse.

• Caleb Downey (Piano): Hailing from Cadillac, Michigan, Caleb adds harmonic depth and melodic intrigue, enriching the rhythm section.

• Haden Bovee (Saxophone): From Middleville, Michigan, Haden’s bold, expressive lines push sonic boundaries and define the band’s distinct voice.

• Colin Woniewski (Trombone): A Byron Center native, Colin’s inventive phrasing and lush voicings expand the group’s harmonic landscape.
